The Big Pitch was a groundbreaking Skillset supported scheme that provided comprehensive training and development for six producer/writer/director teams as they competed to win the most dynamic feature film pitching competition and the largest film production prize in the UK.

Producer Training Initiative

The innovative pilot scheme equipped a total of four selected trainees (over two 6 month programmes) with the right skills and knowledge to produce high quality, commercially successful, low budget feature films.

The specifically tailored training covered all aspects of feature film production - from development through to delivery and was be designed to develop production and producing skills of the filmmakers as creative and commercial professionals whilst simultaneously providing a platform for progression.
